Integrated Home Automation System – Private Residence Project

This project involved the design and integration of a fully integrated home automation system for a high-end private residence, centralising the control of lighting, HVAC, blinds and security systems within a single operating environment.

A distributed control architecture was developed to allow each subsystem to operate independently, improving system reliability and ensuring continuity of operation across the installation.

The solution included the implementation of customised control scenes, energy consumption monitoring and secure remote access functionality, providing the client with centralised management and enhanced control of the property systems.

The installation was also designed with scalability in mind, allowing future expansion and integration of additional systems and functionalities as required.

Building Control & Monitoring System – Commercial Offices Project

Design and integration of a centralised building control system for a commercial office environment, enabling the management of lighting, HVAC systems and energy consumption through a single operating platform.

The system provides real-time monitoring of the building infrastructure, including technical alarm management and energy consumption analysis, improving both operational visibility and overall energy efficiency across the installation.

The solution was developed with future scalability in mind, allowing the integration of additional systems and functionalities as operational requirements evolve.

Featured projects:

Weir gate automation project

Originally a manual system for controlling dam gates using tables and warning signs. The project automates the opening and closing of the gates according to the reservoir level using two redundant laser radars, cross-referencing data for greater reliability. Existing sensors (encoders and limit switches) are integrated, and a PLC is programmed with automatic and manual modes. An HMI is added for control and configuration, and the system is left ready for future expansion.

Monitoring of electrical installations at the Puente Nuevo Dam

Project to monitor the facility’s electrical system. Protection signals are collected and network analysers are upgraded to monitor the generator sets in real time. The signals are sent to PLCs and integrated into the SCADA system, where statuses, consumption and alarms are displayed via a synoptic panel. The system is now ready for future automation of the start-up and shutdown of the generator sets.
